Intelligent Surveillance and Night Patrolling Drone

Abstract

Drones have emerged as a reliable solution for various surveillance applications. This project demonstrates a night time monitoring system
utilizing drones equipped with FPV cameras, LED lights, and GPS navigation. The system autonomously executes preplanned missions, with
the flexibility to switch to manual operation whenever needed. High flight time and significant ground clearance enhance its operational
capabilities, while the video captured by the camera is transmitted in analog form to the ground station for real-time monitoring. A cost-effective
dongle mechanism with a link and actuator reduces production costs, making the system efficient and affordable. The drone is well-suited for
applications such as perimeter security, industrial facility monitoring, airport surveillance, and safeguarding critical infrastructure during
nighttime operations
