Abstract

This paper presents the design, development, and testing of a dual-motor electric go-kart specifically engineered for rough terrain applications.
With the increasing demand for electric mobility solutions in off-road recreational vehicles, the need for robust and efficient designs capable of
handling challenging surfaces such as gravel, dirt, and uneven trails is critical. The proposed go-kart features a dual-motor drive system, providing
enhanced torque and traction, ideal for navigating rugged environments. Key design considerations include high torque output, optimized power
distribution, durable suspension systems, and energy-efficient battery management. The go-kart’s performance is evaluated through various terrain
tests, assessing stability, acceleration, and maneuverability. The results demonstrate that the dual-motor system offers significant advantages over
traditional single-motor designs in off-road conditions, delivering improved handling, speed control, and overall durability. This development not
only contributes to the field of electric off-road vehicles but also opens new possibilities for sustainable recreational transport on uneven surfaces.
